We are looking for a Senior 3Cs / Combat Designer to strengthen the combat team by taking ownership of player controls, camera, and moment-to-moment combat feel under the direction of the Combat Director. This role ensures Age of Bhaarat’s combat and traversal meet high quality standards for responsiveness, clarity, and player experience, aligned with the overall combat vision. The designer will iterate on character 3Cs for responsive, grounded feel, ensure impactful game actions with adequate feedback, and provide depth to combat actions.
Must Have
- Previous experience in working on 3Cs in action games
- Some technical expertise
- Proficiency with Unreal Engine 4/5, including hands-on experience with Blueprints
Good to Have
- Experience working on melee combat games
- Knowledge of programming languages (understanding on how systems are built below the surface)

Why do we need a Senior Game Designer (3Cs - Combat)
We are looking for a Senior 3Cs / Combat Designer to strengthen the combat team by taking ownership of player controls, camera, and moment-to-moment combat feel under the direction of the Combat Director.
This role exists to ensure that Age of Bhaarat’s combat and traversal meet a high quality bar for responsiveness, clarity, and player experience, while staying fully aligned with the overall combat vision.
Candidate will report directly to the Combat Director and work as part of a focused combat feature team or the 3Cs feature team or both, depending on their expertise. They will be collaborating daily with combat designers, AI designers, animators, and engineers.
Core Mandate (3 main missions)
- Iterate on the character 3Cs to ensure that the game feels responsive while being grounded (movie realism) and that the camera frames the action properly
- Game actions feel impactful and player receives adequate feedback for different gameplay events
- Combat offers surface level satisfaction but there’s depth to combat actions below the surface
Success Criteria (What are we expecting from you in the next months)
- Game controls feel intuitive and are easy to pickup.
- Locomotion features improve in both responsiveness and game feel
- Melee combat feel is improved and it is easier to hit enemies with your melee attacks
- Different character capabilities have more clear gameplay role

2. C-level interview (1 hour) with Francisc (Design Director): To meet our Design Director to give you a bigger picture of the project and the game
3. Hiring Manager interview (1 hour) with Kristian (Combat Director): To meet your futur manager and to go deeper in our current context and the position itself
