Job Summary
As a Senior Graphic Designer (Marketing) at Gameloft's Creative Agency in Montreal, you will create engaging 2D content and game-specific assets for marketing and user acquisition teams. This includes logos, icons, storyboards, key art, and website designs for various performance channels like Facebook and Instagram. You will produce ad creatives tailored to each game's visual style, aiming to attract players and drive game downloads. The role involves 2D/3D asset creation, video editing, motion graphics, and collaborating on creative ideas in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.
Must Have
- Create engaging 2D content for marketing and user acquisition.
- Design game-specific assets: logos, icons, storyboards, key art, website designs.
- Produce ad creatives respecting game visual style and communication tone.
- Create, retouch, stage, and polish 2D/3D pack art and marketing assets.
- Process existing assets for various formats and specifications.
- Design logos and create brand guidelines.
- Develop concept illustrations for characters and environments.
- Perform basic video edits and motion animations.
- Manage multiple tasks with overlapping deadlines.
- Apply artistic, IP, and licensing guidelines.
Job Description
As a member of the Gameloft Creative Agency, the Senior Graphic Designer (Marketing) will report to the Creative Agency Lead while meeting the needs of the Marketing and User Acquisition teams to create engaging 2D content specifically designed for different performance channels, such as Facebook and Instagram, as well as creating game-specific assets, such as logos, game icons, storyboards, key art and website designs. You’ll be producing ad creatives for a variety of titles, each with its own unique visual and communication style, while always keeping in mind that the ultimate goal is to engage users and drive their direct response to generate game downloads.
The ideal candidate will produce high-quality 2D creatives and will take full ownership of their tasks, including but not limited to:
2D:
- Creating, retouching, staging and polishing 2D/3D pack art and marketing assets following an established style, palette and template convention
- Reinforcing the atmosphere and visual impact of the packaging
- Processing already created assets and producing a wide range of formats with different specifications (resizes, re-layouts, localizations)
- Logo design
- Creating brand guidelines for upcoming games
- Creating concept illustrations (characters and environment) from early game concepts with limited visual guidelines
VIDEO and MOTION DESIGN:
- Basic video edits and motion animations
GENERAL:
- Working on multiple tasks with overlapping deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Participating in creative meetings and suggesting creative ideas and solutions
- Learning and applying artistic/IP/licensing guidelines
- Executing clients' (licensor/lead/supervisor) revisions on time and according to specifications
- Reporting to the Creative Agency Lead for tasks, revisions, workflow, training and creative ideas
