The Senior Manager, Account Management will lead a team focused on retaining and growing Eventbrite's customer base by managing renewals and identifying upsell opportunities. They will be responsible for team performance, client retention, and developing action plans. The role involves reporting on team success, collaborating with sales leaders, managing individual performance, and ensuring career progression for team members. This role focuses on protecting and growing revenue through account management and renewal of returning sales clients, ensuring targets are met and exceeded. This person will report to the Director of Global Account Management.

  • 5+ years in B2B sales.
  • 4+ years in Sales/Customer Success Leadership/Management roles.

THE CHALLENGE

The Account Management Team is responsible for retaining and growing our fast-growing customer base, consisting of mid to high value returning customers, as well as self-sign on event creators. The Account Management Team’s main focus is to retain best-fit customers through contract renewals, identify upsell opportunities, and maximize value from a book of customer opportunities. 

 

THE CHALLENGE

 

You will manage a team of Account Managers and will be responsible for delivering success for the team as a whole. You will be responsible for driving performance, ensuring high retention of clients and developing action plans where necessary. You will be responsible for reporting on the success and challenges of your team and the clients they work with. You will work closely with sales acquisition leaders to ensure there is strong communication between Acquisition and Returning teams to optimize revenue for the North America region as a whole. You will also manage the individual performance of the Account Managers to help grow their skill sets. By coaching on procedure, technique, and pipeline management, you will ensure career progression and job satisfaction for your team of Britelings.  

 

THE ROLE

 

As the Senior Manager of a retention sales team, you will lead a dynamic team of people tasked to protect and grow revenue through account management and renewal of our returning sales clients. You will be responsible for all revenue and win rate targets for the team. You will report to the Director of Global Account Management and work with them as well as with other internal stakeholders to provide key feedback and execute on business success metrics, and consistently push your team to beat targets.

 

THE SKILL SET

 

  • 5+ Years in sales area B2B
  • 4+ years experience in a Sales or Customer Success Leadership/Management roles
  • Successful track record within the SaaS, Technology, or Ticketing industry
  • Complete culture match with Eventbrite (challenging, dynamic and people oriented)
  • Strong leadership skills: communication, influence and empathy
  • Experience managing and executing on metrics and quotas
  • A proven track record of over-performance

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Eventbrite, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below. You may also be eligible to participate in Eventbrite’s incentive program(s) (such as equity, annual incentive bonus and commission plans), subject to the applicable rules and restrictions.

Pay Transparency Range (US)

$114,200 - $205,700 USD
