We seek a Digital Marketing specialist specializing in paid Social Media and Search and is well versed in social media platforms including Yahoo Japan WeChat QQ Line Baidu Twitter Facebook LinkedIn Instagram YouTube etc The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Paid Social Paid Search and display campaigns in the Asia Pacific region primarily Japan China Hong Kong and Taiwan region
Strong budget management skills and excellent relationship management skills will be key to collaborating with stakeholders across our various lines of business vendors and agencies to deliver well executed and successful campaigns
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Marketing Strategy Management Work with the client to develop plan and execute social media strategies tailored for each platform ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives
Platform Expertise Utilize best practices specific to platforms like Yahoo Japan WeChat QQ Line Baidu Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Instagram YouTube etc to maximize engagement follower growth and brand visibility
Analytics Reporting Monitor analyze and report on performance metrics across each platform identify trends and optimize content based on data
Community Engagement Assist client in interacting with followers respond to comments and manage messages to build a positive community presence and customer relationships
Campaign Management Collaborate with the marketing team to execute social media and search campaigns for product launches events or special promotions
Stay Updated Keep UpToDate with the latest trends tools and updates on each social media platform and suggest innovative ways to enhance our brand
Qualifications
Experience minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in managing social media platforms with a proven track record of successful engagement and growth
Portfolio Must provide a portfolio showcasing previous work on social media content campaigns and any graphic or video editing projects
Graphic Video Editing Skills Proficiency in basic graphic design eg Canva Adobe Spark and video editing tools eg iMovie Adobe Premiere or similar is a plus
Platform Expertise Strong understanding of Yahoo Japan Wechat QQ Facebook Baidu Twitter LinkedIn Instagram YouTube and Google with proven results on each platform
Analytical Skills Ability to analyze social media performance data and derive actionable insights
Good Communication Skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in marketing communications or a related field
Familiarity with social media management tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English is mandatory Chinese language proficiency will be a plus
