Job Summary

Tencent Cloud is seeking a Senior Strategic Sales Manager in Frankfurt to manage significant digital native and MNC accounts in the DACH region. This role involves establishing sales priorities, exceeding cloud sales goals, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, driving Cloud revenue growth, attracting new large strategic accounts (Automotive/Mechanical/Pharmaceuticals/Retail/Media), and negotiating large contracts. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of B2B sales experience in the technology sector, a hunter mentality, and strong communication skills.

Must Have

  • Utilize networking and prospecting skills to generate leads and identify strategic solution-based sales opportunities.
  • Develop and manage high-value relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to other team members on large digital native accounts.
  • Partner with Legal/FIN/Tax teams on contract negotiations.
  • Achieve/exceed sales goals, sustain revenue growth and provide recommendations to enhance account growth and revenue potential.
  • Preparation and execution of strategic account plans, status reports, sales and revenue forecasting and quota attainment.
  • Be an expert on Tencent’s cloud's digital native offerings, understanding customers' needs and providing service solutions.
  • Develop strategic plans based on industry trending and customer analysis.
  • Accountable and instrumental in increasing high-profile cloud platform contracts.
  • Work closely with the Solutions Engineer team in delivering and ensuring customers are gaining high value from their investments.
  • Manage sales life-cycle for all accounts.
  • 10+ years B2B sales experience in the technology/Internet/digital sector.
  • Experience selling at C-level.
  • Exhibits a “hunter” mentality and possesses an outstanding ability to close sales.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong in consultative and insight-based selling.
  • Experience articulating complex solutions to decision-makers and executives.
  • Proven ability to grow revenue and manage accounts.
  • Experience analyzing data, trends and the market to develop key selling points.
  • English and German at B2 level.

Good to Have

  • Experience with Automotive/ E-commerce is a plus.
  • Native proficiency Mandarin Chinese is a strong plus.

Position Overview

Tencent Cloud is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Strategic Sales Manager who would be based in Frankfurt. The chosen candidate will be tasked with creating and handling Tencent Cloud's most significant and strategic digital native and MNC accounts in DACH region. Through a strategic approach, this individual will establish sales priorities and action plans, deliver/surpass cloud sales goals, and cultivate valuable relationships with key stakeholders of target accounts in DACH region. This individual will play a crucial role in driving Cloud revenue growth, attracting new large strategic accounts (Automotive/Mechanical/Pharmaceuticals/Retail/Media), and negotiating and managing large contracts.

Job Respnsibilities
