As a (Senior) Account Manager in Digital Sales, you will actively shape the customer experience and drive digital sales in the license and cloud environment for the DACH region from our new Digital Sales Hub in Barcelona. You will build and maintain customer relationships, act as the first point of contact for digital services, develop tailored strategies, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to solve challenges, identify growth opportunities through up- and cross-selling, and optimize sales strategies using data.

Must Have

  • Several years of B2B sales experience with a focus on software/cloud.
  • Strong passion for digital sales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Profound knowledge in software and IT services.
  • Team player with leadership abilities in challenging situations.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop professionally and personally.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).

At SoftwareOne, you have the chance to actively shape the customer experience and drive digital sales in the license and cloud environment. In the new Digital Sales Hub in Barcelona, you will play a central role in our customer relationships in the DACH region.

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining relationships: You build authentic relationships with our customers and ensure they feel well looked after. You understand their needs and help them achieve their goals through the best possible digital solutions.
  • Contact point for digital services: You are the first point of contact for questions about our digital solutions and ensure that our customers' wishes are implemented quickly and reliably.
  • Strategic work: You develop tailored strategies for your customers, ensuring they remain long-term clients and that open potential is identified and exploited.
  • Solution-oriented action: In the event of challenges after contract conclusion, you work with interdisciplinary teams to identify possible challenges and quickly develop solutions.
  • Recognizing and fostering growth: You have a good sense for potential and constantly find new opportunities to grow together with your customers through up- and cross-selling.
  • Data-driven work: You use market and customer data to continuously optimize your sales strategy and control targeted campaigns.
  • Customer support: You represent the interests of your customers within SoftwareOne and contribute to writing (or continuing) their success story. This makes us a true partner they can count on.

What we need to see from you

Knowledge and Skills

  • Sales experience: You already have several years of experience in B2B sales with a focus on software/cloud and a strong passion for digital sales.
  • Communication skills: You are a communication talent who knows how to inspire and convince people. You understand how to successfully conduct negotiations and are able to present solutions convincingly.
  • Technology affinity: You have sound knowledge in the area of software and IT services and are always interested in expanding your knowledge in this area.
  • Team spirit: You are a true team player who confidently takes the lead even in demanding situations and successfully collaborates with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to learn: You strive to develop both professionally and personally and see continuous learning as the key to success.
  • Language skills: You can express yourself fluently in German and English – both written and spoken, to communicate at various levels with international teams and customers.
