Job Summary
The Content Experience team for Marketing Cloud at Salesforce helps brands create personalized customer interactions. Technical writers produce documentation and content experiences, working with product managers, engineers, and UX teams in an Agile environment. This role involves creating UI text, release notes, and help documentation to drive customer success and product adoption, collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver strategic content.
Must Have
- 2-3 years of experience documenting software for technical audiences.

Hello! We’re the Content Experience team for Marketing Cloud. We help the world’s most recognized brands create innovative and personalized interactions with their customers across multiple touchpoints, such as email, SMS, chat, and more.
Technical writers at Salesforce produce documentation and content experiences that help customers get the most out of our products. We work closely with other writers, product managers, engineers, and the User Experience team in an Agile development environment to produce in-app assistance, help, guides, interactive training (https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en ), and videos for administrators, users, and developers. We’re passionate about innovating and developing solution-oriented content strategies that deliver the right content, the right way, at the right time.
What You’ll Do
- Create UI text, release notes, help docs, and other content that drives customer success and product adoption.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and other writers to deliver strategic content.
Required Experience/Skills:
- 2-3 years of experience documenting software for technical audiences. (We are also open to career changers with solid work history and excellent writing skills, who are comfortable with technical concepts.)
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $101,900 to $140,200.
For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $111,200 to $152,900.
