Job Summary

Thales is seeking a Marketing and Campaigns Lead for its Land domain, focusing on Protected Vehicles, Integrated Weapon Systems, and Explosive Ordnance Services. This role involves translating business priorities into targeted marketing strategies, developing value propositions, and delivering integrated campaigns for domestic and international market expansion. The lead will analyze market trends, collaborate with various teams, and optimize marketing activities to support growth targets.

Must Have

  • Develop differentiated value propositions and deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Translate business and export sales objectives into clear segment marketing strategies and priorities.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and segmentation across the Land domain.
  • Develop integrated value propositions and messaging for key domestic and international customers.
  • Lead the Segment Marketing Plan and execute targeted, multi-channel campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Lines, Account Teams, and Regional Marketing.
  • Track performance, report on KPIs, and continuously optimize marketing activities.
  • Proven experience converting business goals into actionable marketing strategies, ideally for export or international markets.
  • Experience with defence market dynamics, procurement processes, or vehicle systems.
  • Strong expertise in customer value–based marketing within defence, automotive, aerospace, or high-tech sectors.
  • Demonstrated capability in end-to-end campaign development and execution.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex market data to guide decisions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop differentiated value propositions and deliver integrated campaigns that support both domestic and international market expansion

  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Lines, Account Teams, and Regional Marketing to ensure alignment and impactful delivery.
  • Track performance, report on KPIs, and continuously optimise marketing activities to support growth targets

Requirements

Prior to being offered employment, you will need to complete pre-employment police and (role dependent) medical checks.

A Defence security clearance is required for this role; applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
