Job Summary
The Senior Campaign Manager will play a critical role overseeing the management of a small and effective Campaign Management team that will plan, execute and optimize digital campaigns. This role supports Martin Retail Group’s strategic vision for rolling out in-house programmatic services, acting as a resource for digital expertise for cross-functional teams and client partners. Responsibilities include leading a team, managing strategic accounts, developing digital marketing strategies, and ensuring campaign effectiveness through data analysis and optimization.
Must Have
- Develop, grow, and lead a Campaign Management (CM) team
- Manage strategic accounts and client relationships
- Responsible for digital planning, execution and optimization for client results
- Work closely with Strategic Investment, Media Ops, Activation and Traffic / Ad Ops
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital and addressable marketing campaign strategies
- Manage team executing digital campaigns, problem solving taxonomy, on-time launches, tagging, invoices
- Support team monitoring and analyzing data from Media Op to optimize campaigns
- Effectively communicate digital strategies and rationale for tactical approaches
- Lead and assist in coaching, training and educating Campaign Managers
- Provide regular insights to clients detailing performance, optimizations, and new opportunities
- Work with media partners for reporting and accurate platform implementation
- Troubleshoot issues on all pre-production and live campaigns
- Oversees campaign QA process
- Foster collaboration and integration with broader team and key partners
- Facilitate client/agency communication, feedback and manage expectations
- Support the team by helping manage and prioritizing their workloads
- 4-year degree in advertising, marketing, or relevant field
- 4+ years agency and media experience in fast-paced, live, programmatic offerings
- Proven interpersonal skills
- Experience with digital media planning and buying including programmatic platforms
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills

Overview
The Senior Campaign Manager will play a critical role overseeing the management of a small and effective Campaign Management team that will plan, execute and optimize digital campaigns and supporting Martin Retail Group’s strategic vision for rolling out our in-house programmatic services as a resource for digital expertise for cross-functional teams and our client partners.
Responsibilities
- With support of Supervisor, develop, grow, and lead a Campaign Management (CM) team while managing your own more strategic accounts and client relationships, responsible for digital planning for clients, execution and optimization for impactful client results
- Work closely with Strategic Investment, Media Ops, Activation and Traffic / Ad Ops to implement campaigns and provide media solutions
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital and addressable marketing campaign strategies that align with the Division, LMA and organization's goals working closely with Strategic Investment
- Manage team as they execute digital campaigns with Activation team including problem solving taxonomy, on-time launches, tagging and other implementation issues, and reconcile invoices for payment
- Support team as they monitor and analyze data provided from Media Op to optimize campaigns to full effectiveness
- Effectively communicate digital strategies and rationale for tactical approaches for each campaign
- Lead and assist in coaching, training and educating Campaign Managers, helping to support campaigns
- Provide regular insights to clients detailing performance, campaign optimizations, and new digital media opportunities
- Work with media partners to share media performance reporting and to ensure accurate platform implementation
- Troubleshoot issues on all pre-production and live campaigns
- Oversees campaign QA process
- Foster a spirit of collaboration and integration with the broader team and key partners
- Facilitate client/agency communication, feedback and manage expectations regarding offerings, campaigns, challenges, and solutions
- Support the team by helping manage and prioritizing their workloads
Qualifications
Education:
- 4-year degree in advertising, marketing, or relevant field
Experience:
- 4+ years agency and media experience in fast-paced, live, programmatic offerings
Skills:
- Proven track record of Interpersonal skills to work with a variety of people in different internal department, as well as and external vendors and clients across the US
- Exceptional experience with digital media planning and buying including programmatic platforms, social business managers, and/or third-party platforms
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
- Interpersonal skills to work with a variety of people in different internal department, external agency account team, as well as and external vendors and clients across the US
- Great work ethic and detail oriented
