Shipping Associate

Join us as a Shipping Associate in Moorpark, CA. You will be responsible for picking and preparing orders for shipping, utilizing requisitions and order sheets to select a wide variety of items. Key duties include packing incoming stock, managing inventory, recording shipments, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. The role requires operating forklifts, carts, and pallet jacks, with a minimum of one year of forklift experience and certification. This full-time position involves working 2nd shift hours, potentially up to 12 hours, and on weekends, with physical requirements including lifting up to 30lbs.

Must Have

• Packing incoming stock away, taking inventory and reporting shortages
• Keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Picking orders as requested by management and ensuring correct shipping information is attached and moving completed orders to shipping area
• Sealing and tagging containers, confirming accuracy of orders and signing pick tickets to confirm
• Placing containers on pallets, and securing with stretch wrap, shrink wrap and strapping
• Picking, placing, and Loading products by using Forklifts, Carts, and Pallet Jacks
• At least 1 year of prior forklift experience
• Forklift certified (stand up forklift and sit-down forklift)
• Ability to work 2nd shift (2 PM start for 8-12 hours) and on weekends
• Ability to work up to 12 hours
• Ability to lift and lower weights up to 30lbs
• Wear steel toed shoes on the distribution floor

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated hourly pay range for this role is $19.00-$22.00 per hour. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
