Job Description

As the Site Director for the Etrelles establishment, you will be responsible for managing this industrial site near Rennes, which specializes in microelectronics and electronics, employing approximately 1,000 people across 20,000m². Your role involves both tactical and strategic oversight, guiding daily operations and future development within a site master plan, especially in a context of growth and transformation projects. You will act as the legal representative, ensure regulatory compliance, lead social dialogue, and manage site operations including real estate, HSE, security, and business continuity, while directly managing a team of 10 to 15 people.

Must Have:
  • Act as the legal representative of the employer and the company towards employees and external parties (Labor Inspectorate, state representatives, local elected officials, media).
  • Chair the CSE and CSSCT, participate in the Restaurant and RPS commissions.
  • Serve as the Homologation Authority for local information systems (IGI1300).
  • Ensure compliance with labor law and working conditions regulations.
  • Pilot site operations including real estate, HSE, security, SSI, business continuity management, and general site management.
  • Lead the transformation of the site and optimize workspaces.
  • Manage site OPEX and CAPEX.
  • Directly manage local teams (10 to 15 people) covering real estate, HSE, security, SSI, and business continuity management.
  • Possess a degree from an engineering school or equivalent.
  • Have a minimum of fifteen years of professional experience in a similar or management position, project management, or competence center management.
  • Demonstrate experience in project management fundamentals (indicators, budget, schedule, reporting, budget construction, OPEX, CAPEX).
  • Be recognized for your capacity to analyze and synthesize problems.
  • Have experience in managing user services and crisis management.
  • Be organized, methodical, with a strong sense of responsibility and priorities.
  • Possess high work capacity and excellent resistance to pressure.
  • Exhibit strong human qualities, interpersonal skills, good listening, and leadership.

Your daily life

Located at the gates of Brittany, the Etrelles site is our center of excellence in microelectronics, bringing together development, production, integration, and testing activities. The site designs and manufactures microelectronic modules as well as integrated electronic sub-assemblies capable of operating in demanding environments.

Within the Transverse Operations Directorate, you will be responsible for the management of the Etrelles Establishment (near Rennes), an industrial site (approx. 1,000 people, 20,000m²), specifically dedicated to microelectronics and electronics.

In a context of activity growth and establishment transformation projects (organization of premises and their use), you will need to have a tactical and strategic vision of the site and its evolution in the short, medium, and long term. You will manage both daily operations and preparation for the future within the framework of a site master plan.

Your missions:

Your sovereign obligations and delegations lead you to manage the proper functioning of the site, according to several axes:

Responsibilities:

  • Legal representative of the employer and the company towards employees and external parties (Labor Inspectorate, state representatives, local elected officials, media)
  • Chairmanship of the CSE and CSSCT, Restaurant commission, participation in the RPS commission
  • Homologation Authority in the sense of IGI1300 for local information systems according to delegation given by the AQSSI.
  • Necessary and sufficient external representation

Prevention:

  • Guarantor of compliance with regulations concerning labor law and working conditions.

Animation:

  • Bi-monthly site committee including representatives of the various entities present on the site.
  • Animation of monthly Team Brief managers
  • Social dialogue in conjunction with the site's social relations manager
  • Internal communication with employees, relying on the site's internal communication officer

Planning:

  • Load capacity adequacy for housing users
  • Site master plan

Operational piloting:

  • Real estate, HSE, security, SSI, business continuity management, Site management activities
  • Piloting the transformation of the site and the optimization of workspaces
  • Management of site OPEX and CAPEX

Direct management:

  • Local teams (10 to 15 people): real estate, HSE, security, SSI, business continuity management, Site management

Your profile

You are a graduate of an engineering school, or equivalent. You have experience in a similar or management position, project management, or competence center or other entities. Your professional career of at least fifteen years has already led you to interact with the various operational and functional professions of the company, allowing you to understand the needs and expectations of employees and entities on a site, and to be able to discuss them internally or externally.

You have experience in project management and its fundamentals (indicators, budget adherence, schedules, reporting, budget construction, OPEX, CAPEX). You are recognized for your capacity to analyze and synthesize problems. You have experience in managing user services and crisis management.

Organized, methodical, you have a sense of responsibility and priorities. You have a great capacity for work and excellent resistance to pressure. You have human qualities and a taste for interpersonal relationships. You necessarily have good listening skills and certain leadership. You know how to delegate, unite, motivate, negotiate.

You know how to interact with all site stakeholders, motivate the collective, especially managers, in transformation projects. You know how to interact with social partners in a constructive field dialogue. You know how to balance firmness and flexibility.

You are autonomous but will work in tandem and complementarity with the human resources/social relations manager.

You are also capable of representing the company and the establishment externally to local economic, administrative, and political actors.

Knowledge in Facility Management, project management for development work, and building maintenance is a plus, to allow you to get up to speed more quickly on real estate issues.
