Job Summary

As a Site Reliability Engineer at Playtika's Amsterdam studio (Youda), you'll be responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining software applications. You'll tackle complex projects, troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities include solving tasks related to applicative and infrastructure components (Aerospike, Redis, F5, etc.), building web tools and automation flows, managing technical debt, code review, risk evaluation, and suggesting improvements. You will also participate in POCs for new technologies and tools. The role requires strong expertise in various technologies including Kubernetes, Service Mesh, message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ), databases (SQL/NoSQL), and scripting languages.

Must Have

  • 4+ years experience
  • Deep understanding of studio components
  • CI/CD pipeline building/modification
  • K8s setup & administration
  • Advanced knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Advanced knowledge of k8s and containers (Docker)

Good to Have

  • Intermediate knowledge of Service Mesh
  • Debug issues with F5 BIG-IP architecture
  • Advanced knowledge in Ansible or other orchestrators
  • Advanced scripting skills (bash, python, groovy)
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
  • Basic knowledge of Java, .Net, nodeJS

We are on the hunt for a super talented Site Reliability Engineer to join our studio in AMSTERDAM. Better known as the Youda studio.

From our studio in Amsterdam, we supply the world with Governor of Poker 3 and Monopoly Poker to players around the world.

ABOUT THE JOB!

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you’ll be the go-to person for designing, building, testing, and maintaining software applications in your team or department. You'll tackle complex technical projects, handle tasks independently, and bring strong troubleshooting skills to the table. Whether it’s optimizing processes, solving tough challenges, or keeping things running smoothly, you’ll play a key role in the success of the studio, technology, or project you’re working on.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Solve any tasks with any difficulty related to different applicative and infrastructure components
  • Performs software performance analysis using Programming Language-specific tools
  • Build independent web based tools, automation flows (jenking jobs) and solutions
  • Manage RnD technical debt
  • Review, verify, and validate the code developed in the IT projects
  • Proactively evaluate risks and raise the flag on development phase
  • Suggest/implement improvements, or necessary fixes.
  • Participation in POC within onboarding new technologies and tools

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years of experience
  • Deep understanding of most of the studio components
  • Ability to investigate and work on different infrastructure components out of DevOps scope( such as Aerospike, Redis, F5, etc...)
  • Experience in building/modification of CI/CD pipelines
  • K8S: setup, administration
  • Intermediate knowledge of Service Mesh and its integration in K8S and its troubleshooting.
  • Debug issues with F5 BIG-IP architecture (including F5 BigIP and F5 BigIP controller)
  • Advanced knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Advanced knowledge in Git.
  • Advanced knowledge of k8s and containers(Docker)
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
  • Advanced knowledge in Ansible or other orchestrators
  • Advanced scripting skills (bash, python, groovy)
  • Advanced knowledge of message brokers(Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Basic knowledge of Java, .Net, nodeJS
