Onward Search is hiring a Social Analytics Manager for a hybrid, one-year contract position in Burbank, California. This role involves leading social research and insights for TV and film titles, analyzing audience sentiment, measuring campaign performance, and delivering actionable insights to inform marketing strategy and creative execution. The manager will drive engagement and refine campaign tactics across high-profile content launches.
Good To Have:
  • Experience in DTC streaming services or working with entertainment research vendors.
  • Background in primary research methodologies and dashboard setup.
  • Agency, vendor, or client-side experience in social insights or analytics roles.
Must Have:
  • Manage social research projects and measure audience sentiment and conversation around client titles using tools like Sprinklr, Quid, Wavemetrix, and Meltwater.
  • Establish campaign KPIs, create benchmarks, and communicate insights to marketing and senior leadership.
  • Provide social listening insights and recommendations to evolve tactics throughout each campaign lifecycle.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and external vendors to develop reports, dashboards, and best practices.
  • Inform marketing strategies that drive engagement around high-impact moments such as announcements, trailers, and premieres.
  • 5+ years of experience in social media insights, analytics, or research within a content-driven or entertainment environment.
  • Proficiency with social listening platforms (Sprinklr, Quid, ListenFirst, etc.) and ability to run independent queries.
  • Strong understanding of social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Passion for research, television, marketing, and emerging media technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
