Atomic Arcade is a brand-new video game development studio located in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area led by industry veterans from AAA game and film studios. We are in the process of staffing up our development team with outstanding talent to build our first multi-platform, AAA game - a bold and contemporary new take on the GI JOE Universe starring the legendary character Snake Eyes! This is an excellent opportunity to not only build an outstanding AAA experience but to also help form the core foundations for the studio and team to build upon. We are proud to be part of Wizards of the Coast which is a division of Hasbro.


We are looking for a Sr Producer with a technical background that will manage our technical teams. They will work with Programmers and Technical Artists to create tools and pipelines that deliver AAA features and content for our game.


What You'll Do:

  • Own and maintain production schedules for multiple teams.
  • Work with the tech director and leads to manage technical resources and set teams up for success.
  • Manage teams of engineers in their tasks as well as morale, career growth and future planning.
  • Participate and Coordinate the in the hiring process for programmers and technical artists.
  • Track and provide visibility on deliverables through development pipelines while keeping the teams motivated to achieve them.
  • Be a primary contact for communications between the internal teams and external vendors. Build trust and positive relationships across all teams.
  • Communicate effectively across multiple teams and seniority levels.
  • Resolve problems, prioritize, and find creative solutions to achieve results.
  • Provide feedback that is direct and honest paired with care and a genuine desire to improve and support.
  • Track team performance metrics to communicate overall team velocity, project health, and progress towards project goals.
  • Be able to embrace new initiatives or ideas, understand the value of the change, and promote adoption and awareness with the team.

What You'll Bring:

  • Prior game development experience as a programmer or technical artist having shipped several games and experienced all phases of development.
  • Experience working as a Lead or in a production role where you've led the production of teams in the creation and delivery of high quality assets.
  • Broad understanding of the technical aspects of game development including game engines, source control, build systems, and testing.
  • Ability to work with dependency driven pipelines, scheduling, asset tracking, and applying project management methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to be a positive representative to support internal and external partner needs.
  • The adaptability to apply various project methodologies and philosophies to specific team needs.
  • Enthusiastic, positive, team-oriented; must have the ability to interact and collaborate with all departments and teams.
  • Self-sufficient and self-motivated to help teams succeed and create amazing gaming experiences and content.

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

  • Starting Pay Range: $117,440
  • Pay Range End: $197,160
