System Administrator

Walking Tree Technologies is hiring IT System Administrators to support our cloud, infrastructure, and internal IT operations. The role involves managing AWS and Microsoft 365 billing, Linux and Windows servers, network and hardware administration, IT asset management, and data backup and recovery. Candidates should be strong in Linux, Windows, AWS, networking, and Microsoft 365 to ensure system integrity and efficient operations.

Must Have

• Linux & Windows OS management (install, upgrade, patch)
• AWS billing & core services (EC2, VPC, S3, etc.)
• Network hardware: routers, switches, firewalls
• Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, admin tasks)
• IT asset & license management
• Finance report handling (AWS, M365)
• Strong communication & coordination

Key Responsibilities:

• Billing & Finance Handling:
• Manage AWS billing, subscription management, and cost optimization.
• Handle Microsoft 365 billing and prepare finance-related reports.

• Linux & Windows Server Management:
• Install, upgrade, patch, and manage Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Ensure system integrity with regular updates and backups.

• Network & Hardware Administration:
• Support and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure.
• Perform hardware upgrades, including RAM replacement and server maintenance.

• IT Asset & Inventory Management:
• Track software licenses and hardware inventory.
• Assist in purchasing and maintaining software licensing compliance.

• Cloud & Microsoft Services:
• Basic hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, ELB, Route 53).
• Proficient in Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.

• Backup & Recovery:
• Implement and manage data backup solutions.
• Regularly test backup and restore processes.
