What you will be doing:
As a Technical Project Manager at PassiveLogic, you will directly support engineering teams through the life cycle of product development—design, roadmap, manufacturing, launch, and customer experience. You will work cross-functionally with multiple teams daily, including product, engineering, design, marketing, sales, and operations. You will drive the execution of product mission, vision, and strategy that aligns to business and technical strategy. Your phenomenal communication and organization skills will be used to ensure the release timeline is managed through development, holding engineering teams accountable. You will track and report on KPIs to ensure that projects get over the finish line in a timely manner by defining, prioritizing, measuring, and delivering outcomes, including inter-team dependencies.
Responsibilities:
- Support product design, engineering, and operations through a data-driven, problem-solving process in collaboration with engineering program management
- Facilitate deep technical conversations with the teams that are building solutions
- Act with curiosity and empathy for the teams you support
- Communicate plans, progress, performance, and roadblocks to stakeholders, producing project artifacts that enable sound decision-making
- Excel in holding teams accountable to the "big picture," ensuring they follow a strategic course of action that leads to accomplishing team goals
- Serve as scrum master, helping teams plan and manage sprints to fulfill roadmap milestones
- Assist engineers in writing and tracking user stories, including definition of “done" and behavior-driven test plans

You must have:
- 3+ years of technical project management experience with software teams
- College education
- Experience managing a project using frameworks like Agile, SAFe, or Waterfall, as well as a principled approach for deciding when to apply the right methodology
- Experience and mastery of project management tools like ClickUp, Jira, or similar
- Experience working with Gantt and roadmap tools in an engineering context
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams and communicating on a technical level
- Experience building KPI dashboards for engineering teams and leadership on engineering progress
- Strong communication, leadership, decision-making, and collaboration skills
- A proactive, self-starter attitude
You should have:
- Business analyst experience and the ability to wield a spreadsheet for insights into performance, capacity, etc.
- Ability to present complex topics to diverse audiences (both verbal and documentation-creation presentation skills)
- Ability to influence and motivate teams
It’s helpful to have:
- Ability to ask probing and insightful questions that empower the team to effectively navigate challenges and arrive at optimal solutions
- Experience in bringing products through the development process from inception to launch
