Job Description
The client is expanding their team to work on their first title and seeks an experienced Technical VFX Artist. The next game is a tactical RPG aiming to create an unforgettable experience. The Technical VFX Artist will create new assets adhering to technical and artistic direction to ensure high-quality, shippable products. They will assist with technical setup of materials, pipelines, and workflows. Responsibilities also include updating existing assets, fixing graphical bugs, optimizing assets, mentoring other artists, and conducting peer reviews of assets.
Must have:
- Proficient with 3dsmax/Maya/Blender, Unreal Engine and Niagara
- Understanding of procedural techniques and tools including Nuke, Houdini
- Experience with optimization and shipping titles across multiple platforms
- Portfolio demonstrating seniority and skills
- Very good organizational skills
- Good communicator

- Experience with optimization and shipping titles across multiple platforms
- Portfolio which demonstrates your seniority and skills
- Very good organizational skills
- Good communicator
Responsibilities:
- Create new assets while following technical and artistic direction to ensure the end product is of high quality and shippable
- Help with technical setup of materials, pipelines and workflows
- Update existing assets for new platforms and technology
- Fix graphical bugs and also help with optimization of assets
- Mentor other artists
- Conduct peer reviews of assets to offload lead artist and art director
