Job Description

The Sputter Process Technician is responsible for executing process characterization activities, ensuring sputter process meets key performance parameters, and supporting production through process monitoring and adjustments. Essential duties include performing process characterization for sputter equipment and materials, conducting buy-off by verifying key process input variables, monitoring key process output variables during production, performing process adjustments, assisting in troubleshooting, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to safety guidelines.
Good To Have:
  • At least 0-3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or sputter process operations is an advantage.
Must Have:
  • Diploma or certificate in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
  • Perform process characterization for sputter equipment and materials.
  • Conduct buy-off by verifying key process input variables (KPIV), including pressure, temperature, and voltage.
  • Perform measurements and data collection for characterization samples.
  • Monitor key process output variables (KPOV) during production to ensure process stability and product quality.
  • Perform process adjustments as needed to maintain specifications and resolve deviations.
  • Assist in troubleshooting process and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of process parameters, test results, and adjustments.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and cleanroom protocols at all times.
