The Total Rewards Coordinator will provide essential administrative and operational support for the company’s compensation, benefits, wellbeing, and recognition programs. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an interest in building a career in Total Rewards. The coordinator will work closely with HR, payroll, and other stakeholders to contribute to the effective management and communication of the company’s Total Rewards strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Compensation Support
- Assist with the administration of annual compensation programs, including salary planning, bonus, and equity cycles.
- Support data collection, validation, and reporting for compensation-related initiatives.
- Help maintain accurate job, pay, and market data within HR systems.
- Benefits Support
- Serve as a point of contact for team members on routine benefits questions (tier 1).
- Coordinate benefits enrollment, life event changes, and related documentation.
- Partner with benefits vendors and stakeholders on procurement related matters.
- Recognition & Wellness Programs
- Support the delivery of employee recognition programs, including spot awards and service milestones.
- Assist in the administration of wellness initiatives and employee engagement activities.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and distribute regular reports on compensation and benefits metrics.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies, as well as federal, state, and local regulations.
- Assist with audits and ensure accurate documentation of Total Rewards programs.
- Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve Total Rewards processes.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives related to compensation, benefits, and employee experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1– 2 years of experience in HR, benefits, payroll, or related area preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- A proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn compensation and benefits.
