Must Have

  • Conduct X-ray examinations.
  • Perform chemical preparations of electrical components according to recipes.
  • Optically inspect damaged components with a light microscope.
  • Document results in short reports and evaluate images using image processing programs.
  • Currently studying Chemistry, Physics, Nanotechnology, or similar.
  • Interest and enjoyment in on-site lab work.
  • Good German and/or English language skills (written and spoken).
  • Must be regularly enrolled in a university and not have completed all exams/modules.
  • Availability for at least 6 months, maximum 20 hours per week during lecture periods.
  • Should live close to the work location for regular on-site presence.

Good to Have

  • Initial knowledge in scripting or programming skills.

Main activities

Do you enjoy exciting on-site lab work in a team and want to gain valuable practical insights? Then you are in the right place in our error analysis team! We look forward to reliable cooperation with you in the team and new ideas are always very welcome! The activity includes:

  • Data is everything: Performing X-ray examinations
  • Reliable work: Independent chemical preparations of electrical components according to recipe
  • Take responsibility: Optical inspection of damaged components with a light microscope
  • Holistic overview: Documentation of results in short reports and evaluation of the generated images using image processing programs and adaptation of evaluation scripts would round off the whole thing

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills that will help you succeed

  • Course of study: You are currently studying Chemistry, Physics, Nanotechnology or similar
  • Interest: You have an interest and enjoyment in on-site lab work
  • Experience: Initial knowledge in scripting or programming skills would be advantageous
  • Language skills: You have good German and/or English language skills, both written and spoken

Important information:

  • Part-time work: The focus is on your studies. Therefore, the working student activity is possible for a maximum of 20 hours per week during lecture periods.
  • Regularly enrolled students are very welcome: To work as a working student with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not yet have completed all examinations or modules of your studies. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months. Please note that you must not be on a semester break.
  • You should live close to the work location: For good cooperation, it is important to us that you can regularly come to the site to integrate into the team.
