We are looking for an experienced 3D Lift Planner and CAD Operator with excellent design and drafting skills.

Requirements:

4+ years of 3D Lift Planner and AutoCAD experience in crane layouts, planning, and rigging details

Experience in rigging methodology, crane sizing, understand ground bearing, and the ability to calculate rigging loads, centers of gravity, and steel weights based on drawings

Create detailed and accurate 3D Lift Planner and AutoCAD drawings essential for executing successful lifts in the field

Demonstrate the ability to quickly and accurately assemble multiple crane lifts

Utilize software to design and manage the mobilization and demobilization of Tower Cranes

Work closely with the Engineering Team, taking a central role in developing lift plans, detailing lift and rigging specifications, and reporting directly to the Engineering Manager

Occasionally travel to field locations to collect measurements and accurately layout crane positions

Engage with Project Managers, Sales, Management, Customers, Vendors, and the Technical Team to ensure seamless project execution and communication

Software/Skills:

3D Lift Planner

AutoCAD 2013 or later

Excel Programming

MS Word

MS PowerPoint

Good math skills

Good reasoning ability

Good communication abilities not only in speech, but writing as well

Rigging and Crane certifications are a plus

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit at a computer, read computer screens, and input information for long periods of time. Sharing office space is a possibility. Some light travel could be required. Must be able to move about office as needed. Must be able to lift up to 5 pounds.
