You

As assistant legal counsel you will support the UK and Ireland business unit and all Fluence respective functions in managing and mastering their legal challenges, in particular on large-scale projects.
We are not only looking for someone who wants to actively live our core values but who is also seeking to be a part of the team and add value in close interactions with our peers.  In other words you will be a lawyer in a broad and customer facing role and all of us are responsible for great customer service.
 
The job location for this role is in London. The role is hybrid with attendance at our London office 2 to 3 days per week

Working alongside the Legal Director for UK and Ireland you will:

Support the deal teams on complex tenders and projects during the sales phase

Draft and negotiate a large variety of contracts, in particular supply, EPC, service, procurement and other commercial agreements

Support the delivery teams and claim managers on potential claims and disputes during the execution phase

Work on internal corporate initiatives as well as on a wide variety of other matters that come across the table of an in-house lawyer
 
Your skills and qualifications
 
Fully qualified lawyer with 2-4 year PQE who has experience in any of the following areas of law, commercial contracts, construction or projects. Experience in the renewable energy or energy storage sector is very welcomed

·       Flexible, proactive and a highly motivated work style
·       Impeccable ethics and commitment to compliance and safety
