The Role
The Early Career Development Content Manager is responsible for owning the design, development, and evaluation of CAA’s Early Career Development Program. The Content Manager will also facilitate NY based trainings and meetings, organize and manage logistics, and provide coaching to participants.
CAA’s Early Career Development Program is designed to develop the internal pipeline of future Agent assistants. Participants in the program gain first-hand industry experience while serving as the operational hub of the agency, all while receiving hands-on professional development and an education in Entertainment, Media, and Sports. This team is the future of CAA and is an important part of the CAA culture and structure. The program is designed to prepare teammates for success within the agency as well as to build a foundation for a long-term career in the industry.
Under the guidance of a Learning & Development Executive, the Early Career Development Content Manager will ensure the Early Career Development team is equipped with the highest caliber training content. The Early Career Development Content Manager may support on other key trainings and learnings across the agency on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities:
Content Design
In partnership with key stakeholders across HR, Facilities, and the agency’s business departments, conduct on-going needs assessments and gap analysis for CAA’s early career pipeline.
Maintain, update, and design training materials for all pre-assistant development programs to meet the identified needs. Pre-assistant development programs included but are not limited to, CAA’s summer internship program, Mailroom agency prep program, agency assistant floater training, new hire assistant desk training.
The Early Career Development Content Manager will serve as the content library owner and will be responsible for ensuring all training facilitators across the agency, including the LA Early Career Development Program Manager, are using up-to-date and consistent content.
In partnership with the Learning Solutions Executive, the Early Career Development Content Manager will lead the evaluation and analysis of the offerings’ effectiveness through surveys, feedback, and business impact.
Share the feedback and data with relevant stakeholders and make recommendations as needed.
Design additional training content for all areas of CAA as needed.
Training Facilitation
Lead, organize, and facilitate NY Mailroom agency prep program
Facilitate agency assistant floater training and new hire assistant desk training as needed
Facilitate ad-hoc training sessions on an as needed basis in-person locally or virtually
Design and proctor pre-assistant testing (knowledge exam and desk simulation)
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in training, professional development, and/or learning and organizational development
4+ years of experience in training design and development
Experience working with Articulate Storyline 360 and Articulate Rise a plus
Experience with Workday LMS a plus
Experience leading and facilitating meetings and workshops
Effective in-person and virtual facilitation skills
Strong interest and exposure to entertainment, media, and sports
Interest in one-on-one coaching, especially with employees in the early stage of careers
Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others, internally and externally, to meet shared objectives
Willingness and ability to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
Adept with anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders
Agile learner who seeks to apply knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization’s goals
Knowledge of multiple delivery methods and enthusiasm for developing and delivering initiatives that considers the unique needs of different audiences
Ability to building strong relationships and deliver client-centric solutions
Location
This role is based in our New York office.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $86,000 - $115,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
