The Opportunity:

As we develop new games aimed at achieving the perfect product-market fit, ‘Community’ will play a critical role in understanding our target audience and fostering an engaged, loyal player base. This role involves working closely with the new games and marketing teams to share insights from the existing community and lay the foundation for our own.

The Day to Day:

Understand Target Community (Social Listening / Community Research)

    As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for social listening to gain deep insights into our target audience, helping to build detailed audience profiles that will shape our strategy and ensure we build content that connects with players in meaningful ways.

    • Conduct comprehensive research to further understand community demographics, interests, and pain points.
    • Share these insights with the marketing and product teams to guide strategy and decision-making.
    • Work closely with the new games team (game lead, designer, and product marketing) to help refine the audience profiles based on research.

    Nurture and build community relationships

    We aim to foster strong advocacy and loyalty within the specific community we want to engage with through our games. Our goal is to inspire members of this community to rally around the game, sharing their excitement and experiences (early game tests etc.) with friends and family.

    • Engage with key audiences across various platforms and communities, fostering authentic and meaningful conversations.
    • Organize the early game tests, host community events, and connect with passionate community audiences to build strong relationships.
    • Gather insights on the shared interests and values of the community to inform the game’s production.

    Build a Pre-Launch Community

    Once we have understood the community and engaged with them on other channels, we can begin promoting our owned channel and build our own community for the launch of the game.

    • Create dedicated online spaces that encourage interaction, focusing on platforms where the target audience is most active.
    • Develop and share engaging content, including development updates that resonate with the target audience. Strengthen community ties by making them feel like an integral part of the game’s early development.
    • Grow the internal community organically by building genuine relationships, allowing it to thrive naturally.

    About You:

    • Passion for mobile gaming industry
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and build strong relationships at all levels.
    • Familiarity with platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Discord, Reddit, X, Youtube, etc, and experience in engaging and growing the community.
    • Involvement in online/offline community events whether its virtual meetups, live streaming events, or coordinating activities.
    • Strong analytical skills paired with a keen ability to monitor trends and insights within the community, along with expertise in gathering and creating feedback loops.
    • Enthusiastic about exploring new ideas and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
