Summary

This is a Junior Electrical Engineer - Automotive position located in Sao Bernardo do Campo, Brazil. The role involves supporting the E/E architecture for eMobility, specifically focusing on the design and testing of electric bus chassis systems. Responsibilities include assisting in the design of electrical systems, documenting modifications in chassis-body interfaces, troubleshooting low and high voltage systems, managing functional and durability tests, and supporting bus body assembly inspections. The ideal candidate will possess basic knowledge of automotive electrical installations, electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting, along with intermediate English language skills.
Must have:
  • Basic knowledge of Automotive electrical installation and electrical engineering
  • Ability to read and understand electrical/electronic diagrams
  • Interest in developing and testing electric vehicle systems
  • Basic knowledge of troubleshooting low and high voltage systems
  • Intermediate English
Good to have:
  • Basic knowledge of functional and durability automotive testing
  • Familiarity with quality analysis and ISO 26262 standard
  • Basic knowledge of automotive communication networks (CAN bus)
  • Introductory knowledge of Vector tools, such as CANoe
  • Interest in automotive software and hardware integration

Project description

eMobility E/E Architecture support for the design and testing of systems related to electric bus chassis.

Responsibilities

Support the E/E architecture of eMobility for the design and testing of systems related to electric bus chassis.

Assist in the design of electrical systems for electric bus chassis.

Technical documentation of modifications in the interfaces between the chassis and the bus body.

Support in the analysis and troubleshooting of low and high voltage systems.

Assist in managing functional and durability tests.

Support the inspection process of the bus body assembly.

Skills

Must have

Basic knowledge of Automotive electrical installation and electrical engineering.

Ability to read and understand electrical/electronic diagrams.

Interest in developing and testing electric vehicle systems.

Basic knowledge of troubleshooting low and high voltage systems.

Intermediate English.

Nice to have

Basic knowledge of functional and durability automotive testing.

Familiarity with quality analysis and ISO 26262 standard.

Basic knowledge of automotive communication networks (CAN bus).

Introductory knowledge of Vector tools, such as CANoe.

Interest in automotive software and hardware integration.
