Job Summary
Job Description
As a Cutover/Release Deployment Manager, you will develop and maintain detailed cutover and release plans, coordinate with various teams for smooth transitions, and manage risks and quality assurance activities. This role involves aligning cutover activities with Agile projects and continuously improving the release management process. You will be responsible for ensuring all cutovers meet quality standards and coordinating release activities with development, testing, and operations teams. You'll also be tracking cutover execution and building up a network of Cutover Responsible personnel. Your role is based in Pune but requires travel within India and internationally to work with a global team on global topics.
Must have:
- 12+ years of cutover and release management experience in SAP.
- Qualified B.E/BTech/MCA or equivalent from a reputed institute.
- Experience in SAP project implementations with full-cycle cutovers.
- Track record in developing and executing detailed cutover plans.
- Experience managing software releases, including planning and scheduling.
- Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA and its integration points.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
Good to have:
- Certifications in Agile Release Trains or Project Management.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience of working with offshore / global teams
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Proficiency in using tools like SAP Solution Manager.
- Proficient in modeling, documenting, and simulating business processes using SAP Signavio.
- Proven experience in ITIL processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of software development stages
