Master Trainer - Gurgaon

Master Trainer position at Lakshya/Keywords India, responsible for leading, managing, planning and driving the overall Technical Training of an Academic Initiative focused on training/skilling programs for Video Games industry in collaboration with Government, Universities and Educational institutes. 

 This key position is focused on 3D digital Game art which comprises of Environment and Props content such as Buildings, Modular kit, Foliage, Vehicles, Weapons, Hard surface and Organic Props. And deliver highly potential and well skilled artists to the industry.

Technical Skills

• Advanced knowledge of industry standard software such as Maya, 3D Studio Max, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Marmoset tool bag and Photoshop.

• Knowledge of additional software – such as Substance Designer, Marvelous Designer and Speed tree – as well as knowledge of how to create assets for / export assets to game engines such as Unreal Engine will be an added advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of 3D game asset creation process. Hands-on knowledge of how to effectively model and texture 3D assets under production conditions (within deadlines, conforming to client’s requirements etc.)
• Knowledge of how to effectively estimate, plan and supervise game art asset creation work.

• Overall experience of 10+ years with at least 5 years of experience in a 3D game or game art services company in an Artist or Senior Artist role.
• Experience as a Trainer is a big plus.
• Advanced content development skills to prepare content for 3D Digital Game Art.
• Smart and effective evaluation of candidates via assessments, assignments, interviews etc.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Program Director and Leadership at Lakshya/Keywords to plan and conduct training for Artists and Trainers.
• Create Curriculum, training plans and assessment plans; including creation of a highly effective Training of Trainers (ToT) program and personally delivering the program.
• Build a pool of high caliber Trainers and maintain high degree of retention, through their continuous development and motivation.
• Train the trainers in advanced 3D art assets tools, techniques and integration as per established pipelines in the Production teams meeting the industry specifications and quality requirements within the budgeted time and effort.
• Oversee and guide trainers to prepare and update Training materials and Pedagogy regularly, keeping in line with current & future trends in 3D Game Art creation as well as Production needs.
• Coaching & mentoring the Trainers to ensure they understand Production processes as well as Company culture.
• Help trainers in creating analytics and progress reports for trainees.
• Work closely with Recruitment team in shortlisting and evaluation of Trainers for multiple locations.
• Participate in all other activities of L&D team at Lakshya/Keywords India, when called upon.
• Maintain a strong and trusting relationship with all internal and external stakeholders with thorough communication, regular reports, and collaboration.
• Represent Lakshya/Keywords India as a Champion of Learning at Industry events, potential partners, Government Executives and Academia.
• Assist Program Director with regular market research on industry, talent and skilling ecosystem to refine plans & programs for higher impact.
