Quality Analyst - UI Testing
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering flawless user interfaces. As a UI Tester, you will be responsible for conducting thorough testing of our software interfaces to ensure they are visually appealing, functional, and user-friendly.
Responsibilities:
- Execute detailed test plans and test cases to assess the visual and functional aspects of user interfaces across various devices and platforms.
- Identify, document, and report UI issues, including graphical inconsistencies, responsiveness problems, and usability flaws.
- Work closely with the design and development teams to understand the design and functional requirements and ensure they are accurately implemented.
- Perform both manual and automated UI tests, and validate fixes provided by developers.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve the user interface design and interaction.
- Support in building testing strategies and methodologies for UI testing
- Responsible in requirement gathering/analysis, prepare test scenarios & test scripts based on the requirements, execute the planned test cases and report the defects in tracking tool and ensure its closure through STLC process.
- Participate in the status calls, Scrum calls and client meetings.
Skills Required:
- Should have experience on any of Non-Financial domains like Health and Life Science, Consumer Products and Retail, Telecom, Media and Entertainment, Oil and Natural Gas, Power and Utilities, Manufacturing etc
- 5-9 Years of experience in Quality Engineering
- Proven experience as a UI Tester, or in a similar role in software quality assurance.
- Familiarity with testing tools like BrowserStack, LamdaTest and frameworks for UI testing.
- Proficiency in documenting and tracking defects using issue tracking systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
