The Business Intelligence & Sales Transformation Analyst will be responsible for developing standardized sales reporting and analytics using Salesforce Analytics (CRMa). The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and create dashboards. Responsibilities include migrating existing dashboards, designing datasets, establishing data pipelines, identifying process improvements, and utilizing Snowflake for data mining. The analyst will also generate actionable insights, maintain KPIs, and provide support for sales operations teams. This role drives efficiencies and scalability within operations, playing a key part in supporting Motive’s next phase of growth.
Must have:
  • Experience with CRMa dashboard development.
  • Strong SQL knowledge with complex query writing skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Snowflake, and Tableau.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

About the Role:

The Business Intelligence & Sales Transformation Analyst will be responsible for developing standardized sales reporting and analytics for Motive using Salesforce Analytics, also known as CRMa, a leading data visualization tool. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter who can collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver analytical solutions in the form of CRMa dashboards. This role involves working with cutting-edge tools and technologies, including Snowflake, Tableau, and CRMa, to integrate unstructured data and generate actionable insights into the sales organization’s performance. Additionally, the analyst will have the opportunity to influence the strategic direction of sales data consumption and analysis across the organization. By driving efficiencies and scalability within operations, this role will play a key part in supporting Motive’s next phase of growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand dashboard requirements.
  • Develop automated, self-service dashboards using CRMa.
  • Migrate existing Tableau dashboards and Salesforce reports to CRMa.
  • Design and construct complex datasets by extracting and cleansing data from multiple systems.
  • Work closely with the Business Intelligence and Enterprise Systems teams to establish data pipelines for business-critical KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop CRMa dashboards to streamline and automate existing reporting.
  • Utilize Snowflake for data mining and extraction.
  • Build complex queries to generate actionable insights and address key business questions.
  • Develop and maintain operational KPIs, seller productivity metrics, and business review materials.
  • Provide analytical support and standardized reporting for segment sales operations teams.
  • Become a subject matter expert in Motive’s data landscape, continuously seeking ways to enhance data quality and reliability.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education: BS degree in a quantitative field such as IT, Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • Salesforce Analytics Studio (CRMa) Expertise: Hands-on experience in developing dashboards using CRMa.
  • Experience: 5+ years in a Sales Business Intelligence or related role, preferably with experience working with sales systems like Salesforce.
  • SQL Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write and interpret complex queries.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Salesforce, Snowflake, Tableau, and other business intelligence applications.
  • Project Management: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage urgent requests, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Problem-Solving & Independence: Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently, and find solutions to data-related challenges.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Troubleshooting & Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to work cross-functionally with BI, Sales Teams, Engineering, and other departments.
