Grab is Southeast Asia's leading superapp, focused on driving the region forward economically through technology and AI. The Fleet Strategy & Commercial team advances electric vehicle programs and fleet partnership projects. This role involves developing strategic plans, planning partnerships, and driving the success of Grab's EV and fleet projects. Responsibilities include creating and implementing long-term strategic plans for sustainable growth, building EV and fleet partnership project plans with input from stakeholders, conducting market analysis to identify trends and opportunities, developing commercial proposals and contracts, evaluating business expansion opportunities, and working with the fleet operations team for performance tracking and improvement. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Management, with 1+ years of experience in strategy, commercial, or account management, preferably in startups or data-driven industries. Proficiency in Excel is essential, with familiarity in SQL or data visualization tools being a plus. Fluency in English and Thai is required.

Our Fleet Strategy & Commercial team advances Grab's electric vehicle programs and fleet partnership projects. We work collaboratively to develop strategic plans and implement them to achieve sustainable growth and new ideas. Get to Know the Role

We are looking for passionate individuals for Fleet Strategy & Commercial roles. You will focus on developing strategic plans, planning partnerships, and driving the success of Grab's electric vehicle projects and fleet partnership projects. You will collaborate with a talented team to achieve remarkable outcomes. You will report to Assistant Manager, Fleet Commercial & Special Project, work onsite base in Bangkok office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Develop and implement long-term strategic plans to improve sustainable growth for company.
  • Build Grab EV and fleet partnership project plan, gathering inputs from on-ground and partners to design practical action plans together with external partners and operations team
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, market opportunities, and competitive landscapes for strategic decision-making
  • Develop commercial proposals, bidding, contracts and other contract-related documentation, perform contractual/commercial review and negotiation. Expedite the processing and execution of documents, ensuring timelines and our goals are met
  • Evaluate opportunities for business expansion, including market reach, product diversification, and geographical expansion. Ensure understanding across team members and external partners on important plans and main performance targets.
  • Working closely with the fleet operations team and stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities to track actual performance against plan, continuous improvement in the scope

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management, or related fields.
  • 1 or more years of experience in strategy, commercial, or account management roles within startups or data-driven industries.
  • Experience in management consulting or strategic planning within startups.
  • Proficiency in excel (can perform complex functions) for data analysis (essential). Familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Fluent in English and Thai; can engage with all partners.
  • Experience in quantitative skills and business acumen, able to translate complex analyses into relevant business insights.
  • Ability to construct and deliver clear narratives and work plans.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
