We are looking for a talented Communications Specialist to join our team and help shape both the internal and external communication efforts of our studio. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and delivering strategic messaging that not only engages players, press, and influencers but also strengthens communication within our studio. You will collaborate across teams to ensure that everyone is aligned on key projects, company news, and goals, fostering a unified and informed internal culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop core messaging for social media posts, and more.
  • Manage official studio social media pages, such as X (Twitter), Discord, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other emergent platforms.
  • Develop programmatic and opportunistic social media content and copy to ensure our social presence is active and engaging.
  • Brainstorm and execute content that is aligned with project pillars that builds and fosters our community.
  • Operate with a community-focused mentality to create content and resources that drive engagement, i.e. cosplay guides, AMA’s etc.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR teams to craft social media and internal communications that promote and support studio culture and recruitment.
  • Support the onboarding process by creating and managing internal resources that help new hires integrate smoothly into the studio.
  • Develop internal content such as executive messages, company updates, and team spotlights, ensuring they reflect the studio’s voice and values.
  • Advise studio leadership on and help execute crisis communications, as needed.
  • Advocate for and support critical studio initiatives and values.
  • Help plan and manage internal events like town halls, all-hands meetings, and employee appreciation events. Additionally, collaborate on external events (e.g., game industry events like E3, Gamescom) to support communication efforts.

Requirements & Skills:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience working in a similar role or relevant field, such as social media or community management, public relations, or marketing.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with HR, development, leadership, and other internal teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the games industry, the broader games market, and online communities.
  • Prior experience managing social media pages and online communities.
  • Experience in fostering a positive and cohesive workplace culture through communication strategies.
  • Working knowledge of content management systems, social media publishing, social platforms such as X (Twitter), Discord, and asset development tools, such as Craft CMS, Tweetdeck, Photoshop, Premiere, and others.

  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

TNM considers a number of factors when determining each role's base pay range, including industry benchmarks, location, experience, and other job specific skills. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for other incentive compensation including equity and profit share. The estimated base pay range for this role is U.S. only and not applicable for locations outside of the U.S.
TNM offers competitive and comprehensive benefits that include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, unlimited PTO, supplemental life and disability, and more. Eligibility to participate in these benefits may vary for part-time or temporary employees. The estimated base pay range for this role is: $87,000 - $125,000
