Job Description
Overview
This position requires a content writer who excels in crafting narrative content with a smooth flow and can adapt to various styles, including educational, informational, creative, website content, email content, long-form articles, and corporate content.
Proficiency in writing in both Standard Classic Arabic “Fos’ha” and the white Saudi dialect, with no grammatical or spelling errors.
The writing should serve the business objectives, client goals, as well as the creative objectives of the team and strategic plans.
Responsibilities
Technical & Product
- Crafting texts such as copy, product descriptions, direct mails, push notifications, landing pages, proofreading, and content editing to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Ensuring the consistency and quality of all prepared content.
- Working in partnership with the team to develop creative concepts for marketing materials and campaigns.
- Researching brands and relevant industries to stay up-to-date with the latest digital trends.
- Creating fresh, new, and interesting ideas and conveying them effectively to adopt the tone of the proposed brand/campaign.
- Able to write both long-form editorial content and short content, including headlines.
- Has the ability to diversify writing styles to match the nature of the campaign or type of client.
Business Acumen & Operational Efficiency
- Experienced in taking briefs, crafting effective copy, writing and formatting copy decks, and interpreting brand tone of voice and language.
- Develop and execute strategically sound creative for cross-channel initiatives.
- Persuasively present both internally and to clients with credibility, reasoning, and emotion.
- Actively listen to truly understand the ask, client feedback, and internal feedback.
- Ensure communications are produced to the highest standards of accuracy and quality control.
- Deliver fresh ideas and personality while working within the existing brand voice and tone.
- Align multiple brand strategies and messaging ideas within the copy.
Qualifications
- 0-1 years of experience in writing and editing content.
- Understanding of the differences between types of content and proficiency in writing them.
- Proficiency in writing in both the white Saudi dialect and Standard Arabic ”Fos’ha”.
