Database Administrators

Responsible for Database designing, Data modeling, Application Server, Oracle, DB-2, SQL, PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions and triggers using Oracle 11g/12c. Expertise in Sybase, OEM, BMC-PATROL, Embarcaderos Dbartisan, and warehouse-benchmark applications on HP UNIX and Sun Solaris. Includes performance tuning, monitoring, installation, and high availability setup. Proactively diagnose and tune performance issues across multiple application environments and perform iterative tuning in databases throughout the SDLC. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or BBA with 5 years of experience.

Must Have

• Design and model databases
• Work with Application Server, Oracle, DB-2, SQL, PL/SQL
• Develop packages, procedures, functions, and triggers using Oracle 11g/12c
• Utilize Sybase, OEM, BMC-PATROL, Embarcaderos Dbartisan
• Manage warehouse-benchmark applications on HP UNIX and Sun Solaris
• Perform performance tuning, monitoring, and installation
• Administer high availability setups
• Diagnose and tune performance issues in multiple application environments
• Perform proactive and reactive iterative tuning in databases
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or BBA
• 5 years of experience in database administration

Job Overview

Responsible for Database designing, Data modeling, Application Server, Oracle, DB-2, SQL, PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions and triggers using Oracle 11g/12c. Server, Sybase, OEM, BMC-PATROL, Embarcaderos Dbartisan, warehouse- benchmark application on HP UNIX and Sun Solaris Platform. Performance tuning monitoring, Installation, administrating high availability set up. Ability to proactively and reactively diagnose and tune performance issues in a multiple application environments. Performing proactive and reactive iterative tuning in databases at various stages of SDLC.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (any), Engineering (any), BBA (any) with 5 years of experience.
