The Opportunity
We are looking for a strategic product marketing leader for Adobe’s Education segment in India. This leader will be responsible for the business and marketing strategy for the segment across all our Digital Media offerings, covering both K-12 and Higher Education. They will be accountable for driving business results in collaboration with multiple Go to Market cross-functional teams, as well as product groups. This is a highly visible position as we are heavily investing in this customer segment with a lot of untapped opportunity. The ideal candidate will be passionate about bringing Adobe’s leading products in categories such as creativity, design, and documents to the next generation of creators . The ideal candidate will exude ownership of the business, and be able t o deliver tangible results in a matrixed environment.
What You’ll Do
- Define and drive the overall Education business & marketing strategy for the Indian market, encompassing K-12 and Higher Education segments.
- Partner closely with different education & category product management teams to defin e requirements that will accelerate adoption .
- Drive strategic updates and discussions with senior executives.
- Develop deep knowledge of the Education business, content quality, and supported content type, and be the expert in market trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and market growth drivers in the space.
- Lead the annual planning process for the business and deliver the 3-year growth strategy and business plan for India .
- Define the critical metrics for measuring success across product marketing activities.
- Lead a cross-functional team to deliver on key success factors across all aspects of the GTM Strategy.
- Define a clear vision for the business and GTM strategy & priorities required to win in the vertical . This includes:
- TAM, market share, competitive assessment.
- Target audience definition and priorities, customer needs including curriculum, templates, Gen AI value, etc.
- Act as a change agent, guiding teams forward in a rapidly evolving environment.
What You Need to Succeed
- Be an experienced senior-level product marketing manager and understand the needs of teachers and students for creativity and productivity in both K-12 and Higher Education settings in India
- Strong marketer who understands how to reach these audiences, drive demand, traffic, and adoption of the software.
- Passionate about Gen AI and its impact on education.
- Self-starter and proactive leader with 1 2 + years of building highly effective teams.
- Strong EQ, influencing skills, and leadership ability, ideally including experience driving consensus in matrixed organizations.
- P roven success influencing peers across product management, engineering, corporate marketing, and regional leaders in a high ly matrixed and global organization al environment.
- Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills.
- Strategic problem solver who can identify and set short and long-term strategic priorities.
- A drive to constantly optimize and improve, combined with a relentless focus on customer experience.
- “Owner-operator” working style.
