Job Title: Director / Senior Director, Strategy & Operations, Office of the CEO
Your role:
This person will partner with the Chief of Staff to the CEO across the below duties, with the goal of enabling the CEO to lead WMG with the utmost effectiveness and efficiency. The role will have a high degree of interaction (daily) with the CEO and be highly visible across his leadership team.
“Run-the-team” business operations
Run annual & quarterly OKR (Objectives & Key Results) process across the entire company
Own agenda & run preparation of materials for monthly Board of Directors calls & quarterly Board meetings
Own agenda for & help run weekly leadership meetings
Ensure delivery of regular CEO reporting (e.g., team updates / bullets, financials, operational KPIs, project progress)
Executive support
Work with EAs to handle the CEO’s calendar and enhance the use of his time
Ensure the CEO’s meetings are effective: Preview & provide advance feedback on teams’ work, prepare / pre-seed / pre-align partners, follow up on & close out action items
Drive global & cross-functional collaboration: handle the flow of information and connect dots between the CEO & his direct reports, among the CEO’s direct reports, and across the rest of the company’s senior executives
Serve as a strategic thought partner and sounding board
Ad hoc presentation creation, memo writing, and data analysis
Special projects
About you:
4-8 years in a strategy & operations, biz ops, transformation, program management, or similar type role
Experience successfully leading large, complex, highly cross-functional projects and influencing collaborators of all levels of seniority
High-EQ diplomat who is a master at reading the room
Determined, creative problem solver and diligent, dependable executor – failure is not an option for this person
Great communicator & storyteller: verbal, written, and in slides. Adept at tailoring their messaging to the audience
Capable of absorbing and processing high volumes of information, and synthesizing it and applying it to connect dots
Able to operate autonomously, comfortable with ambiguity
Demands excellence from themselves and those around them
A strong moral compass, discreet, mature, selfless

Salary Range
$155,000 to $215,000 Annually
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
