Job Summary

The Novotel Hamburg Central Station is seeking an engaged and reliable individual for a part-time People & Culture role. Responsibilities include administrative support, assisting with onboarding/offboarding, coordinating recruitment, organizing team events and training, and supporting departmental projects. The position offers a permanent contract, above-tariff pay, and various benefits within a modern hotel concept in Hamburg city center.

Must Have

  • Initial experience in Human Resources (desirable)
  • Good German and English language skills
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Structured, independent, and responsible work ethic
  • High discretion, team orientation, strong communication skills, and empathy
  • Support administrative tasks in daily HR operations, e.g., maintaining Personio
  • Participate in onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Support recruiting, including preparing job ads and coordinating interviews
  • Organize team events, employee surveys, and training sessions
  • Support department-related projects

Good to Have

  • Additional languages, e.g., French
  • Initial experience with Personio

In the heart of Hamburg, in the immediate vicinity of the main train station and the city center, lies the Novotel Hamburg Central Station. The well-known shopping street and pedestrian zone Mönckebergstraße is right on the doorstep, and the Hamburg harbor can be reached in a few minutes. The 227 elegant and modern rooms offer guests comfort. The restaurant "Mysa Eatery", a symbiosis of newly interpreted Nordic cuisine and modulated international cuisine, offers guests a new F&B concept. 5 meeting rooms and the fitness center complete the hotel's offerings.

What are your tasks:

  • Support with administrative matters in the daily business of the HR department, e.g., maintaining our time tracking tool "Personio"
  • Participation in onboarding and offboarding processes, such as preparing uniforms, creating employment references
  • Support recruiting, including preparing job advertisements and coordinating interviews
  • Organization of team events, employee surveys, and training sessions
  • Support department-related projects

What you bring:

  • Initial experience in the HR department is desirable
  • Good German and English language skills; further languages such as French are an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Initial experience with Personio is an advantage
  • Structured, independent, and responsible way of working
  • High discretion and team orientation as well as strong communication skills and empathy
