Job Description

This role involves developing camera solutions, focusing on quality design, imaging algorithm evaluation and development. The Firmware Engineer will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure optimal camera quality and user experience. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and deploying imaging signal processing features aligned with emerging camera technologies; developing camera imaging signal processing algorithms to meet quality targets; and developing quality and tuning methods for novel camera pipelines. The ideal candidate will possess excellent software engineering skills optimized for hardware, with a strong understanding of Hardware Internet Service Provider (HW ISP).

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in EE or CS
1+ years software development (C++, Python, MATLAB)
Imaging signal processing development
Camera quality tuning and evaluation

Good to have:

Master's degree in image processing/computer vision
Experience with color space/tone mapping algorithms
Adaptability to new technologies
Understanding of HW ISP

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
1 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (C++, Python or MATLAB).

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience in image processing, computer vision, and computational photography development.
Experience in imaging system tuning and quality evaluation including imaging hardware, image signal processing and post-processing imaging algorithms.
Experience with color space or tone mapping related algorithms.
Ability to adapt to new technologies in response to the rapidly evolving camera industry.
Excellent software engineering skills optimized for hardware, with an understanding of Hardware Internet Service Provider (HW ISP).
