Graphic Designer Overview:
Under the direct supervision of the Marketing & Communications Director, the Graphic Designer is responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality digital and print marketing materials for the organization. This role involves supporting various campaigns by conceptualizing, planning, and developing concepts for a variety of graphic design, marketing, and web graphic design, video projects as required. Utilizing a wide variety of graphic software, graphic techniques, desktop publishing techniques, production equipment, and supplies, the Graphic Designer prepares and designs layouts and produces graphic materials, determining composition, views, and perspectives necessary for functional and aesthetic presentation. Additionally, the Graphic Designer assists in the creation, design, and implementation of social media and website content, manages project timelines, and mentors junior team members to support their professional growth and development.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Conceptualize, plans, and develops concepts for a variety of graphic design, marketing, video and web graphic design as required.
Develop graphics and layouts for marketing materials to include print & digital advertising, brochures, exhibitions & display graphics, corporate branding, and other marketing collateral.
Utilizes a wide variety of graphic software, graphic techniques, desktop publishing techniques, production equipment, and supplies to prepare and/or design layouts and produce graphic materials; determines composition, views, and perspective necessary for functional and aesthetic presentation.
Participates in the design, and development of social media, website and potentially intranet sites.
Provides graphic art direction, creative input throughout the marketing and branding processes and works with communications team in determining the most effective and efficient method to achieve their communication goals and objectives.
Manages the print production process with printers, including soliciting bids from print vendors, preparing, and delivering design files, and performing press checks
Graphically proofs and performs quality reviews of all assigned projects including reviews of the overall design of documents and materials, typesetting, content, and images. Ensures standards are established and implemented for all graphic media.
Other duties as assigned.

Experience in creating newsletters, posters, invitations, and websites
Ability to absorb and apply constructive feedback from peers and clients with professional approach and flexibility
Proficient knowledge in Adobe Creative suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Must have strong attention to detail and able to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Strong writing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and willing to mentor staff
Proficiency using Microsoft Suite.
