WHAT YOU DO

• Overall responsibility for the planning, control, and optimization of the entire logistics chain (goods receipt, warehousing, order picking, national/international shipping).
• Leadership and motivation of the logistics team.
• Ensuring efficient and timely shipping of small and large series as well as custom-made products to our national and international customers.
• Selection, control, and negotiation with external logistics service providers and freight forwarders.
• Continuous improvement of logistics processes and implementation of new, efficiency-enhancing warehouse and shipping strategies.
• Compliance with all relevant legal provisions and internal quality standards in logistics and export.
• Inventory management and inventory responsibility.
• Close cooperation with the production, project management, and purchasing departments.
• Monitoring and reporting of logistics key figures.

WHO YOU ARE

• Successfully completed commercial or logistics training, ideally with further training as a logistics specialist or a degree with a focus on Logistics/Supply Chain Management.
• Several years of professional experience in a leading position in logistics/shipping, ideally in a manufacturing environment (e.g., shopfitting, advertising material production, furniture construction).
• Sound knowledge of national and international shipping regulations (incl. customs clearance).
• Proven leadership experience and the ability to develop and motivate a team.
• Very good IT skills, especially in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
• Fluent German and very good English skills, written and spoken.
• Strong organizational talent, structured way of working, and high solution orientation.
• Hands-on mentality and resilience.
