Job Summary

Axel Springer National Media & Tech is seeking an HR Manager / Personnel Administration (m/f/d) to join their People & Culture team in Berlin. This role involves supporting HR Business Partners with all aspects of personnel support, from onboarding to offboarding, coordinating administrative processes for new hires, and preparing essential documents like employment contracts and certificates. The successful candidate will be the primary contact for employees regarding administrative HR matters and will contribute to HR projects and process development. The position is offered in full-time or part-time and is permanent.

Must Have

  • Support HR Business Partners in all topics related to personnel support – from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Coordinate administrative process steps for new hires and prepare the necessary documents.
  • Create employment contracts, supplementary agreements, references, and certificates.
  • Be the first point of contact and competent contact person for employees in all administrative questions of personnel management.
  • Actively participate in HR projects and contribute to the further development of processes.
  • Completed commercial vocational training.
  • Initial professional experience in personnel administration.
  • Sound knowledge in SAP HCM.
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications.
  • Good understanding of labor law and legal regulations.
  • Ability to complete tasks independently, structured, and service-oriented, with a high degree of responsibility and team spirit.
  • Very good German language skills, written and spoken.
  • Good English language skills.

  • Experience in handling contract or document management systems.

What you will move with us:

  • Support our HR Business Partners in all topics related to personnel support – from onboarding to offboarding.

What you bring:

  • You have completed commercial vocational training.
  • Ideally, you bring initial professional experience in personnel administration and are familiar with the processes of a modern HR department.
  • Your sound knowledge in SAP HCM and your confident handling of MS Office applications will help you in your daily work.
  • Experience in handling contract or document management systems is a plus.
  • You have a good understanding of labor law and legal regulations.
  • You complete tasks independently, structured, and service-oriented – with a high degree of responsibility and team spirit.
  • You have very good German language skills, written and spoken, and good English language skills.
