Job Description – Test Engineer Grad
What you'll do
You will report to the Engineering Manager or Test Lead and will be part of the Software Quality Engineering team, working closely with developers, analysts, and automation engineers across product teams.
- Understand the testing processes, tools, standards, and frameworks used within the organization
- Prepare test scenarios from requirement documents and participate in test scenario reviews
- Learn and work on automation tools to create, execute, troubleshoot, and maintain test scripts
- Participate in defect lifecycle management – from defect creation to retesting and closure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Foster a mindset of continuous learning and improvement in testing practices
You should have
- Bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Science only
- Graduation Year: Open to candidates graduating in 2026 only
- Minimum of 60% in 10th, 12th, and ongoing graduation degree
- No active backlogs or arrears; a clean academic record is essential
- Must be available for a mandatory full-time internship (6 months) starting Jan/Feb 2026
- Willingness to transition into a full-time Test Engineer Grad role after successful internship completion
Technical Exposure required
- Basic understanding of testing methodologies (e.g., Agile)
- Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, C#, .NET, and xUnit
- Database knowledge (e.g., SQL Server)
- Knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Knowledge and exposure to test automation tools and framework (e.g. Cypress, Selenium / Appium)
- API testing tool knowledge (e.g. Postman)
- AI understanding and utilization in their day to-day life to be productive (e.g. Co-pilot, ChatGPT)
