Job Description

Join the Thales Purchasing function's Process and Tools team for a 6-month internship in Change Management. You will contribute to the digital transformation of Purchasing by deploying the e-Acquisition solution (Ivalua). Your mission will involve producing user guides, harmonizing existing training materials, designing e-Learning modules, creating short promotional videos, adapting support materials based on user feedback, and participating in serious game production. This role offers immersion in a global group, practical change management experience, and active participation in an Agile project.

Must Have:
  • Produce clear user guides adapted to user needs
  • Harmonize and standardize e-Acquisition user guides in collaboration with users

  • Adapt training materials based on user feedback and tool evolutions
  • Collaborate closely with the run manager and e-Acquisition referents
  • Participate in the production of serious games
  • Preparing a Bac+5 degree (Master's level) in Business School or Master with a specialization in Purchasing and/or Change Management
  • Curious, creative, and proactive
  • Excellent interpersonal and writing skills
  • Fluent in English and French

The Thales Purchasing function brings together more than 1500 people to manage an external purchasing volume that represents almost 50% of the Group's turnover. It operates in a global model with two main objectives:

  • Negotiate and optimize the total cost of ownership of materials, products, and services delivered by third parties.
  • Control and guarantee supplier performance.

Within the function, the Process and Tools teams are responsible for ensuring operational and strategic efficiency by designing adaptive and high-performing processes and tools.

As part of the digital transformation of Purchasing, Thales is deploying a digital solution dedicated to purchasing and supply management: e-Acquisition (based on the Ivalua solution).

The purchasing tool centralizes and manages supplier data to facilitate selection and monitoring. It organizes calls for tenders, products, and work packages related to projects to optimize purchases. Finally, it allows measuring and monitoring purchasing performance to improve processes and collaboration.

The internship is part of a change management approach aimed at strengthening tool adoption, improving user experience, and standardizing existing training materials.

The project management team is looking for a change management intern to:

  • Produce user guides that are clear and adapted to user needs.
  • Harmonize and standardize e-Acquisition user guides in collaboration with users to ensure consistency between business processes and tool usage.
  • Design and develop eLearning modules to support skill development.
  • Create short videos aimed at presenting and promoting new e-Acquisition solutions.
  • Adapt training materials based on user feedback and tool evolutions: Work closely with the run manager and the community of e-Acquisition referents at Thales to prioritize needs for support and training materials.
  • Participate in the production of serious games.

Your profile:

Are you preparing a Bac+5 degree (Master's level) in Business School or Master with a specialization in Purchasing and/or Change Management? Are you looking for a 6-month internship?

Are you curious, creative, and proactive?

Ideally, do you have good theoretical knowledge of Purchasing functions and an interest in Information Systems projects?

Are you interested in digital transformation, change management, and training?

Do you have excellent interpersonal and writing skills?

Do you speak English and French?

A word from the team:

Through this internship, you will be immersed in the world of Purchasing and will gain concrete experience in change management within a large International Group. You will actively participate in the creation of modern and interactive training materials.

The project is entirely managed in Agile mode and will allow good acculturation to this methodology through active participation in all squad ceremonies.
