Job Description

This role involves driving incremental sports revenue from concept through execution in a 360 capacity. The manager will collaborate with stakeholders across the company, bringing a consultative, creative, and solution-minded approach to advertising and sponsorship opportunities. Responsibilities include supporting pre-sale and post-sale activities, owning brand categories, and representing the Así Sports team in brainstorming meetings to maximize revenue.
Good To Have:
  • Experience working in a client-facing role within a media company, advertising agency or League with exposure to sales marketing and campaign execution in network, digital and social preferred
  • Keynote a plus
  • Spanish speaking fluency and/or multi-cultural experience helpful, not required
Must Have:
  • Support Director in day-to-day pre-sale and post-sale activities
  • Creative ideation, presentation development, production book buildout, timeline management, campaign maintenance and recapping
  • Ownership of to-be-determined brand categories, owning client relationships, ideation and execution responsibilities
  • Represent Así Sports team in day-to-day brainstorming meetings
  • Liaise with and flow through all proper channels to ensure conceptual approval and alignment
  • Build relationships with key personnel in divisional platforms
  • Effectively communicate with Sales regarding the status of proposals
  • Serve as team expert across assigned properties
  • Minimum of 3 years in media, sports, agency or related experience
  • Knowledge of sports media landscape- with special emphasis on soccer across all platforms
  • Detail oriented with great communication skills and presentation skills
  • Ability to think strategically in both the pre and post sales process
  • Expertise in PowerPoint
  • Advanced knowledge and passion for sports – specifically the soccer landscape
  • Ability to move quickly between projects and look ahead to see and deal with potential problems

Position Summary

You will help drive incremental sports revenue from concept through execution in a 360 capacity by collaborating with stakeholders across all areas of the company. The ideal candidate will bring a consultative, creative and solution minded approach both in preparing advertising and sponsorship opportunities for potential clients as well as throughout the execution process. Opportunities could include linear, digital and social media as well as live events, signage and IP sponsorship. You will closely collaborate with the Sports integrations team in Miami to ensure flawless program execution.

Your Day to Day

  • Support Director in day-to-day pre-sale and post-sale activities including but not limited to creative ideation, presentation development, production book buildout, timeline management, campaign maintenance and recapping.
  • Ownership of to-be-determined brand categories, owning client relationships, ideation and execution responsibilities
  • Represent Así Sports team in day-to-day brainstorming meetings to assess client needs and maximize revenue opportunities for advertising partners
  • Liaise with and flow through all proper channels to ensure conceptual approval and alignment
  • Build relationships with key personnel in divisional platforms (Network, Digital and Social Media Sales, Strategy and Insights, Research, Local Media, Creative Services, Business Development, Production, Experiential and Content Creators) to develop and execute multi-platform custom programs that solve for client’s goals
  • Effectively communicate with Sales regarding the status of proposals
  • Serve as team expert across assigned properties including managing all sales materials and keeping the team up to date on latest developments surrounding those properties

You Have

  • Minimum of 3 years in media, sports, agency or related experience; Experience working in a client-facing role within a media company, advertising agency or League with exposure to sales marketing and campaign execution in network, digital and social preferred
  • Knowledge of sports media landscape- with special emphasis on soccer across all platforms
  • Detail oriented with great communication skills and presentation skills
  • Ability to think strategically in both the pre and post sales process
  • A positive, solutions-oriented, and success-driven attitude
  • Expertise in PowerPoint; Keynote a plus
  • Advanced knowledge and passion for sports – specifically the soccer landscape
  • Ability to move quickly between projects and look ahead to see and deal with potential problems
  • Spanish speaking fluency and/or multi-cultural experience helpful, not required

Eligibility Requirements:

  • This is an in-office position located in NYC or Miami
  • Must be open to travel
  • Employment/education will be verified
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Must be willing to submit a writing sample and/or sample pitch deck for consideration

Salary Range

80K-90K + Benefits. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position.
