Job Description

The Manager, Implementation oversees the successful deployment and integration of products, services, or solutions for clients. This role involves leading implementation projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring client requirements are met on time and within budget. The Manager will lead a team of implementation specialists, build strong client relationships, and continuously improve implementation processes. Responsibilities include developing project plans, providing training and support, monitoring KPIs, and identifying risks.
Must Have:
  • Lead and manage implementation projects from initiation to completion.
  • Partner with Implementation Leads to develop detailed project plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns promptly.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of implementation specialists.
  • Provide training, support, and development opportunities to team members.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve implementation processes and procedures.
  • Work closely with other departments (sales, product development, customer support).
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project effectiveness.
  • Identify potential risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to clients.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients post-implementation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 6-8+ years of experience in implementation, project management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing complex implementation projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Position Overview

The Manager, Implementation is responsible for overseeing the successful deployment and integration of products, services, or solutions for clients. This role involves managing implementation projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that client requirements are met on time and within budget. The Manager will lead a team of implementation specialists and work closely with clients to ensure a smooth and efficient implementation process.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and manage implementation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client expectations.
  • Partner with Implementation Leads to develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively acting as the primary point of contact for escalated issues.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of implementation specialists to ensure high performance and productivity.
  • Provide training, support, and development opportunities to team members.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve implementation processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve the implementation experience for clients.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as sales, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless implementation process.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve any technical or operational issues.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of implementation projects.
  • Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management on implementation performance and metrics.
  • Identify potential risks and assist on developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful implementation.
  • Monitor and report on risk factors and their impact on project timelines and outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to clients to ensure they are fully equipped to use the implemented products or services.
  • Provide ongoing support to client's post-implementation to ensure continued success and satisfaction.

What you’ll bring to Zelis:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 6-8 + years of experience in implementation, project management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing complex implementation projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
