Job Summary

This internship focuses on supporting Philips PH's social media operations, primarily on WeChat and RED. Responsibilities include content planning, copywriting, video ideation, and managing the content calendar to boost brand visibility and engagement. The intern will also monitor social content performance, analyze data, track trends, and conduct competitive research. Additionally, the role involves coordinating IMC campaigns with external agencies and ensuring timely asset delivery and consistent brand messaging. The intern will report to the IMC and Social leader and collaborate with various internal teams.

Must Have

  • Support daily operations of Philips PH's social accounts, focusing on WeChat and RED.
  • Contribute to end-to-end content process: brainstorming, planning, copywriting, video ideation.
  • Assist in implementing the content calendar to enhance brand visibility and user engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze social content performance metrics (Page Views, Engagement Rate, Follower Growth, Video Completion Rate).
  • Compile regular performance reports to inform content strategy and optimization.
  • Track social trends and hot topics for interactive campaigns.
  • Conduct research on competitor strategies and industry trends.
  • Assist in coordinating with external agencies for IMC campaigns.
  • Manage campaign processes and performance tracking.
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred).
  • 1-2 marketing-related internship experiences in brand/digital/social/media.
  • Deep understanding of consumer marketing and sharp social insight.
  • Strong awareness of emerging social topics and trends.
  • Strong English and Chinese communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Social Content Planning & Execution

  • Support the daily operations of Philips PH's social accounts, with a primary focus on the WeChat and RED ecosystems.
  • Contribute to the end-to-end content process, including brainstorming, planning, copywriting, and video ideation.
  • Assist in the implementation of the content calendar to enhance brand visibility, drive user engagement, and cultivate brand advocates. Social Platform Data Monitoring & Competitive Analysis
  • Monitor and analyze social content performance metrics (such as Page Views, Engagement Rate, Follower Growth, and Video Completion Rate).
  • Compile regular performance reports to inform content strategy and enable data-driven optimization.
  • Track social trends and hot topics to assist in planning interactive campaigns (e.g., topic challenges), increasing user participation and loyalty.
  • Conduct research on competitor strategies and industry trends, producing analysis reports to help maintain a competitive social media presence.

IMC Campaign Coordination & Execution

  • Assist in coordinating with external agencies, tracking project progress, and ensuring the timely delivery of assets.
  • Manage campaign processes and performance tracking to ensure seamless execution and consistent brand messaging.

You are a part of

You will report to Philips IMC and Social leader, collaborate with many other teams including RBU, CRM, PR, Media, EC, Offline, Insights team etc.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred).
  • 1-2 marketing-related internship experiences in brand/digital/social/media.
  • Possesses a deep understanding of consumer marketing and sharp social insight.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of emerging social topics and trends.
  • Strong English and Chinese communication skills.
