YOUR ROLE

As Past Model Service Sales on our team, you will: Responsible for managing the Past Model Service business for both current and past models

In your daily job you will:

• Quote Customer's RFQs (Direct and Tiers).
• Analyze each p/n to verify if:
• The p/n has been quoted in regular production, the part has been released, PPAP’d and shipped to the customer to assure Aptiv would be able to produce the service part avoiding customer penalties.
• Analyze tooling and other investment cost when applicable
• Analyze design cost of the engineering changes when applicable
• Analyze harness/kit cost vs price Quote packaging expenses
• Obtain capacity/grouping information S
• Submit formal RFQ to the Customer
• Verifies Purchase Order is released on Supply Power matching Quote prices in coordination with the OTC team
• If there’s a price discrepancy work with the GMCCA buyer to resolve it
• Follow the Purchase Order verification process until is matching the correct price
• Provides prices on daily basis to customer service to generate SA’s for dealers
• Support the Account Manager on the analysis/control of the eligible p/n’s for Past Model Price Increase (PMPI)
• Maintain price history tracker.
• Oversee business relationship and scorecard.
• Work closely with cross functional areas to reconcile issues related to supply/Quality/Cost.
• Maintain and report-out on status to goals.
• Relationship development:
• Establish and participate in face to face meetings with customer.
• Maintain customer contact list.
• Oversee specific customer teams to assure customer expectations and relationship deliver ables are achieved. Includes: management meetings, engineering involvement, customer service, etc.
• Supports the Account Manager on resolution of account receivable issues. Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements.
• Follow up on missing quotes with several contacts inside Aptiv (EDS, DCS, DEC)

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

• High level of English proficiency is a must (80% or higher).
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar.
• 3 + years of experience in Engineering (Application, Process, Methods Engineering/ Quality/ Manufacturing).
• e-change/ECM knowledge.
• Experience on engineering changes and on manufacturing product release. Must have Visa and passport.
• Knowledge in Microsoft office.
• Team work oriented.
