VGW seeks a Privacy Analyst in Perth to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations. Responsibilities include managing data subject access requests (DSARs), conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), reviewing the vendor risk management program, monitoring the privacy inbox, collaborating on Privacy by Design principles, advising on privacy matters, and supporting the global privacy strategy. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in privacy, security compliance, or risk management, familiarity with global privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, APPs), strong research, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with OneTrust is a plus.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Security team in Perth and are currently looking for an Privacy Analyst to join the team. 

As a Privacy Analyst, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring VGW's compliance with data privacy regulations and promoting a culture of privacy across the company.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing data subject access requests (DSARs) to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Working with key business stakeholders to conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for new projects and processing activities.  
  • Conducting the privacy review of VGW’s Vendor risk management program, including sending out questionnaires, reviewing responses to assess privacy risk, and coordinating with Security and Procurement
  • Monitoring the privacy inbox and serve as a point of contact for external and internal privacy inquiries
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement Privacy by Design principles.
  • Providing timely advice on privacy-related questions and concerns from players.
  • Supporting the execution of VGW’s Global Privacy Strategy and the Privacy Team.

What you will bring to the role:

  • 2 plus years of experience in privacy, security compliance, or risk management.
  • Familiarity with global privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, APPs).
  • Strong research skills with the ability to quickly understand privacy regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with OneTrust is a plus, but not required.
