Job Description

The Process Analyst will perform operational management and environmental licensing analysis and planning services, focusing on biodiversity preservation to ensure the longevity of ventures. This involves developing and applying methods for conservation, monitoring, and environmental management, as well as biological, chemical, and oceanographic techniques for company projects. The role includes conducting ecological and sustainability analyses, risk assessments, environmental audits, leading teams, and preparing technical reports for regulatory bodies, particularly in biodiversity-related licensing and monitoring.
Must have:
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Environmental and Integrated SMS Management System implementation and maintenance.
  • Experience with environmental licensing processes and environmental impact studies related to biodiversity.
  • Knowledge of technical standards and environmental licensing legislation for the oil and gas sector.
  • Proficiency in computerized environmental licensing systems.
  • Basic English reading skills and Office suite software knowledge.
  • Ability to communicate with communities and deliver presentations.
  • Teamwork capability and knowledge in ecology and sustainability projects.
  • Higher education in Biology, Oceanography, Chemistry, or related fields.
  • Post-graduate degree in Environment, Occupational Safety, Quality, SMS, Oil and Gas, or related areas.
  • Perform analysis and planning for operational management and environmental licensing, focusing on biodiversity preservation.
  • Conduct ecological and sustainability analyses, risk assessments, and environmental audits.
  • Lead work teams and prepare technical documentation for competent authorities.

Mandatory Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years with preferential experience in the Oil and Gas area for activities requiring the implementation and maintenance of the Environmental and Integrated SMS Management System, as well as environmental licensing processes, environmental impact studies related to biodiversity, environmental and SMS indicators, internal and external environmental and QSMS audits;
  • Knowledge of technical standards and legislation regarding Environmental Licensing applicable to the oil and gas sector;
  • Handling of computerized environmental licensing systems;
  • Basic knowledge of reading in English;
  • Knowledge of Office suite software;
  • Ability to communicate with communities and make presentations;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Knowledge in ecology and sustainability projects.

Education

  • Education Level: Higher education in Biology, Oceanography, Chemistry and related fields.
  • Post-graduate degree in Environment, or Occupational Safety, Quality, SMS, Oil and Gas, Planning, Project Management, Auditing, Environmental Expertise and Licensing, Biologist, Cytologist, Hydrobiologist, Histologist, Insectologist, Microbiologist and other related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Operational Management and Environmental Licensing Analysis and Planning Services for the maintenance of natural resources with a focus on biodiversity preservation, in order to guarantee the useful life of ventures by seeking strategies for establishing conservation priorities and promoting the development and application of methods, processes and techniques for environmental conservation, monitoring and management, development and application of biological, chemical and oceanographic methods, processes and techniques related to the Company's works, installations, structures in all phases of its ventures;
  • Perform ecological and sustainability analyses for issuing technical opinions, analytical processes, risk assessments and environmental audits, in addition to leading work teams and preparing technical reports and documentation for presentation to competent bodies. Will act directly in Environmental Licensing and Monitoring related to Biodiversity etc.
