Job Description

Finch is seeking a Contract Recruiter to drive the hiring engine during a period of rapid growth. This role involves full-cycle recruiting across product, engineering, legal ops, growth, and strategy, working directly with the CEO and founding team. The recruiter will define hiring foundations, including narratives, processes, systems, and rituals, to ensure every new hire elevates the company. Key responsibilities include sourcing, evaluating, and closing top talent, as well as building scalable systems for the entire recruiting process.
Must Have:

This Role

We’re hiring a Contract Recruiter to power the hiring engine behind Finch. This comes at a moment of fast, high-stakes growth for the business. You’ll work directly with the CEO and founding team to source, evaluate, and close top talent across product, engineering, legal ops, growth, and strategy. You’ll also help define the foundations of how we hire — narratives, processes, systems, and rituals — so that every new teammate levels up the company.

You’ll lead initiatives like:

  • Driving full-cycle recruiting across technical, operational, and GTM roles
  • Leading top of funnel sourcing for legal operations staff as we brace for scale
  • Creating scalable systems for sourcing, interviewing, and closing top candidates
  • Designing a distinctive candidate experience that reflects our culture and values
  • Delivering our employer brand, pitch, and messaging across channels
  • Building structure with the tools we have now (e.g., Notion, Google Sheets) and evolving our stack as we grow

Compensation

$100k - $200k annualized equivalent for contract role ($8k-$16k/month), depending on experience and time commitment.
