  • Management of component inventory
Good to have:
  • 7+ years in retail/consumer hardware supply chain
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience with repair databases

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 5 years of experience in supply or demand planning with end-to-end supply chain management (e.g., forecasting, warehousing, fulfillment, reverse logistics).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in supply chain operations in retail sector or consumer hardware.

As a reverse logistics planner, you will join a creative and fast-growing team that defines the service offerings for products that stretch from phones to wearable products. You will understand and estimate return rates, component usage rates, repair operation set ups, build demand and forecast models for service parts and align with business strategy and operations, and manage component planning and communicate about inventory metrics with our business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and insightful forecast for various products across the globe.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams ensuring service needs are fully covered, (e.g., demand planning, supply planning, inventory management and operations).
  • Drive product success metrics such as forecast accuracy, inventory Weeks of Supply (WOS), excess and obsolescence, material spend, customer fulfillment rates, etc.
  • Manage component inventory for warranty requirements to maximize customer service levels and mitigate excess and obsolescence risks. Analyze repair databases and identify component usage rates and trends during product life cycle.
  • Support last time buys by providing accurate, reliable inputs from demand model and forecast.
